The Mom Behind the Blog

Hey! I’m Stefanie Lorenzo, the creator and writer behind Living Lorenzo.

Let me just say welcome to my little spot on the internet. If there’s anything to know about me, it’s that I’m a Philly girl turned suburban wife and mother to four fun-loving and fearless babes ages 5, 3, 2, and a few weeks.. My kids are all about 20 months apart and I’m powered by coffee and walks in the sunshine.

Motherhood has been the most rewarding, yet challenging chapter of my life and I’d love to share my journey with you. At the end of 2023, I resigned from the workforce to be promoted to a full time stay-at-home Mom. But don’t let the “stay at home” title fool ya! My daily goal is to get everyone out of the house to burn energy and keep mama sane.  Leaving my career has been quite the transition and the exhaustion is REAL some days. It’s easy to get stuck in a revolving circle of diaper changes, tantrums and loads of laundry. After talking about starting a blog since my early twenties, I took the plunge into website development and created this space as a hobby and creative outlet that I was so badly craving.

If you enjoy seeing authentic motherhood, easy recipes, and meal prep ideas along with a little DIY, you’ll feel right at home here! Hang out and let me know how you’re doing. It takes a village but it’s not always easy to find it. Consider yourself a friend. Drop a comment or reach out on IG. I will always have an ear to listen and advice if it’s solicited.

A little bit more about me

Self-Proclaimed DIY lover and detail-oriented party planner, hosting is my favorite and I love having a loud house full of family, friends, and good food. My love language is pasta & prosecco. I have a passion for cooking and enjoy trying new recipes. Powering my family with quality ingredients is important to me but I believe it’s all about balance. You can catch us ordering a pizza or cheesesteak on a Friday night. My husband is a loadmaster in the Air Force Reserves and travels often. Parenting solo has its challenges, but I’ve learned to roll with the punches and throw rigid routines out the window. I firmly believe that some of the best days involve 4 kids taking car naps with good music and a strong coffee.
